About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To know Europe is beyond sightseeings.

ABOUT ME

I am a design student who wanted to know more than my college could teach me in Rio. I wanted to have more influences in my life, and to be more complete before I graduated. Therefore, I came to Porto, Portugal, to study for six months in the local faculty, and it has been one of the best choices I've made in my life. I live with 3 other Brazilian students and 3 portuguese people.
I am loving the environment here in Europe (it's my first time), but I didn't travel a lot. As I didn't come here only to study, one of my objectives is to know as many people as I can, from different cultures, jobs and everything else. I'm staying until february and I know I will come back as a different person.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything you do, you do today.

It is actually hard for me to really practice it, but it's a good thing to remember when I start delaying something just because of laziness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couch surfing and I don't really have a couch to offer, so I try to go to some events and now I'm planning my trips around Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never actually participated in Couch Surfing, but I've met many couch surfers, as my brother and some friends usually do it. I only had good experiences with it, as all travelers had something new to say and were always really open and animated to new experiences.

Interests

As a design student and an amateur musician, I enjoy almost everything related to arts. But why not watching football? Running? Going to the beach? Spending hours in a bar talking about nothing? Going to a club? Sitting in a square just watching the afternoon pass by?

One of the things I enjoy the most is to completely change my day scasual because of an opportunity that shows up from nothing. Even if it doesn't work out very well, it makes me feel I added something new to my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the best thing I did with my flatmate in Porto was to somehow enter an informal tour full of people from everywhere that was just passing through us on the street. Many of them became our friends, who we've been hanging around with for the last months.
I love it how we didn't need internet or common friends to get to know new people, just a "hello".
