Hi, I'm Felipe third-generation Japanese born and raised in Brazil currently living in New Zealand (four years now) as an expat. I've been using Couchsurfing every now and then since 2008, almost 11 years.

Travelling is one of my passions along with meeting new people and experience new cultures and food. Listen to new stories and being able to share mine as well. Happy to have a cup of coffee or a beer to either have a fun and open-minded conversation or enjoy a meaningful conversation :)

As I've been living in New Zealand for quite a while, English has become almost my first language (with a bit of kiwi/new zealand accent). We can also communicate in Portuguese/Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a week with indigenous people in Tanna, a tiny island in Vanuatu and climbed Mt.Yasur which is a volcano in eruption!

Jumped off the highest bungee jump in the world :)
