I am a 22 year old film and philosophy student from Medellín Colombia . I am a very talkative and funny person, I will let you be the judge of the second one. I can literally talk to a rock for 20 hours. I am respectful and appreciative over anything else, so I will do my best to be of no bother to you, try to make you have an

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for an experience that I cant get from a Hotel. To meet new friends, to meet the people that inhabit the far away lands that I am visiting, to learn from them to have a nice time, to hopefully repay them the favour in Medellin Colombia.

Also I am a Philosophy and Film student that works half time. which are careers that dont make you a rockerfeller... and also the Colombian peso is ... pretty weak to say the least Haha.

also I have the hability to be able to sleep anywhere.

Interests

I am a cinephile in the first level, have seen everything from Buster Douglas, Mellies, Welles, to Fincher, marvel Universe, Dogma Films, that french wave that looks new, in other words i have seen a lot of film and love the process. Can talk about scripts, filmakers, actors and even the editors haha. I have seen film from al around the golbe and i love talking and discussing it, even getting in respectful arguments. The same goes for philosophy and literature, these three things and being a lovable idiot is what I do most of my time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Queen, Nirvana, Mac Demarco, any rapper from any coast from the 90s (USA), Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The king Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Guns & Roses... and ... ABBA thats what I listen most of the time, but i Dance Salsa and reguetton the best.

Movies: Jagten (2011) Tombs of the fireflies, Lord of the Rings (All three cant choose) any David Fincher Film or Nolan... Rebel without a cause is also epic. TV i can watch south Park, futurama and breaking bad till the end of times... also Sailor Moon.

Books : the three Camus books (the stranger, the pest, the fall) the never ending story (Michael Ende) because Im colombian 100 years of solitude haha Don Quixote (Cervantes) and the best of all, the cherry on top Ulysses by James Joyce .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once filmed for 36 hours straight, the film did not end up good. But i had a nice time and lost a couple of pounds, which is nice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach history of film and give small lectures about film and its current transformation due to an unkown app called Netflix.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you three things. A nice company and cero disturbance whatsoever. I am a film maker and photographer, so I can take some cool photos of you wherever you want ! I have seen it all. we can make a short short and i mean really short film haha to remeber the times.

I am also a decent company and I have some Colombian Coffee and Cigarrettes always in my bag.
