ABOUT ME

Hey there ! I'm Cemile from Denizli,Turkey. Since March 2015, I've been living in Vienna after spending 6 years in İstanbul. I'm still working on my master's degree in Biomedical Engineering .

I'm quite an open-minded and easygoing person. I usually prefer cozy and quiet evenings but this doesn't mean that i don't like to go out and party from time to time. I'm always into learning new cultures, languages ( especially German right now) and I like to get to know new people from around the world.

Interests

I spend most of my time by watching movies, reading articles and books. I love listening almost all types of music and i'm very interested in discovering new bands and new genres. I like hanging out with my friends, having drinks in pubs, partying, swimming and jogging sometimes.
On beautiful sunny days I like taking long walks or chilling out in a nice park.
These days I'm taking theater lectures to try something new and also started watercolor painting.

Music, Movies, and Books

>I love watching movies from all over the world. I used to watch a lot of movies but recently I became more and more lazy about it. I usually prefer drama but I also watch other kinds of course ( except action and cheesy romantic comedies)

Some of my favorite movies are; Trainspotting, Amores Perros, Little Miss Sunshine,La Science des Réves, Cidade de Deus, Bin-Jip, Birdman, The Lobster, Her.

>Music is a bit complicated. For example I start listening Post-rock but within an hour I can find myself listening Arabesk. I am trying not to stick in one certain type of music.

Some of my favorite kinds are; post rock, progressive, stoner rock, grunge, psychedelic, trip-hop, indie, electronic, chill out, ambient... I also enjoy classical music and 70s disco, classics from 80s .

>About reading, I've read different kind of novels but Dostojevski is definitely my favorite after I read "Notes from Underground" .

> Also I love reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Milan Kundera, Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Kafka and some examples of underground literature. Recently I'm trying to read about philosophy and history.

My whole erasmus experience in Barcelona was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty open about learning anything about everything from anyone from anywhere :)

I'm always open for language exchange. Turkish, English or German.

People tell me that i'm good at playing and teaching backgammon. I can also teach you if you are interested :)

I like eating a lot and i love trying out new dishes, so why not your local food?
Cooking together is not a must of course but i think it's a good way to share some culture and nice moments.
