About Me
Hi travelers,
I'm Félix, former traveler (if I can say a such thing) and now open to welcome people at my place. I've had the chance to meet plenty of generous and kind people along the way, now I'll try to give back when I'll be able to.
I'm located in Montcalm neighborhood, not so far from downtown and the main areas to visit. My place is easy to get to by bus, by bike or whatever.
I'm a bit busy, I work during week days an do different kind of stuff when I'm not on duty (camping, sailboat, and chilling with my buddies)! So that means I won't be able to always answer positively (and always rapidly) to your requests, sorry about that, but I'll try to welcome people as much as I can.
The easiest time for me to welcome people is from Thursday evening to Monday, roughly. But try your shot anyway if your need doesn't match this time frame.
I've used couchsurfing a lot while I was on the road for 2 years, so I know it ain't always easy to manage the whole thing on a phone and it's kinda long too to send requests. So you definitely do not need to send me a damn poem like many of the hosts ask for. Just go straight to the point and I'll tell you if it matches or not !
I have a roomie with me, so he'll be part of the decision too :).
We have a sofa bed not too bad for a couple of nights in the living room. Our place is big, so no worries if you arrive with a big backpack.
I'm a native french speaking dude but I'm alright with English and I'm getting better and better with my Spanish, but I don't really care what language you speak, as long as we can understand each other a minimum.
I'm not stiff at all, I just expect people with a minimum of common sense and hygiene, por favor.
Roughly about me, I'm often outside in a park, on the water or somewhere with a brew and a book under the sun. I'm easy like a Sunday morning, and my Sunday morn' are easy af. I like to read philosophy, finance, economics or just a simple magazine talking about wild baboons. I listen to a lot of different stuff, from world music, salsa , underground house music, some good ol' rock and 90's hip-hop. Movie nights, bar hopping and late night ride on a bike will be on the menu, if you want to.
Boys and girls are welcome, we are two civilized dudes. No we are not nudists. No, you won't be oblidged to eat the same stuff than us if you don't want to. And yes, if you need time to relax alone, that is fine.
It will be hard to welcome more than one at the time, but try and we'll see.
Cheers.
Félix
