After I have finished my education as a stove fitter I wanted to do some traveling over a longer time.
I started with Scotland and stayed there for one month and while I was there I found out that I want to take cycling as my way of traveling.
So when I was back home in September I planned my trip and left on the 24th of October 2016.

I cycled all the way threw Slovenia, Croatia (which was the best part), Montenegro, Albania and Greece.
It was a great experience and now, 4 years later, I am back on the bike, travelling the Balkan, further to the Black Sea and at some point around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I`d like to meet many different people from different countries, share a meal and some stories.

On my bike trip I recognized, that most travellers (especially backpackers and cyclists) are much more friendly and openminded than the people at home and after experiencing how great just a warm shower and bed can be sometimes I now want to help other people who travel on a low budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most Indie music but I don´t have anything against most types of music, the other genres I like a lot: Classic Jazz, Movie Soundtracks, Reaggae and most types of Rock

About movies, I like to watch movies in generall and except for horror movies and very brutal Action movies I like most movies, but if I have to choose one, Science Fiction is my favourite genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my first bike tour through the Balkans I stayed with a good friend named Daniel Needham in a banned house near Plitvička and over night we got 30cm of snow and freezing temperatures.
Luckily we had a working fireplace and we stayed there for one day and had to melt the snow to get some water.
