Hi I' m Felix and as a kid my parents took me all over the world to experience it's beauty. Now I'm at an age, where I can explore the world myself, which is so exciting! I'm studying Civil Engineering in Tokyo for 4 months and while I'm in Japan I want to see as much as I can and meet as many people as I can. In august I plan to travel, but the location still has to be decided.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in a place with other international students, so when I travel I would love to besurrounded by Japanese people, or people who embraced the Japanese way of living. I want to learn and I want to explore and it just made sense to me that couch surfing would be the perfect platform to do both.

Interests

My interests vary a lot as I enjoy the exploratory part the most. But most continuous passions are: Cycling, Basketball, drawing, snorkling and exposing myself to uncomfortable situation in order to learn by experience.

Lately I'm into bouldering, surfing, climbing trees and Karate.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like african disco. (Fela Kuti is a hero)
I like jazz and Hip Hop mixtures.
I like non-fixture, mostly physics and history. (Yuval Noah Harrari is hero)
I'm not so much of a movie expert, sorry! Maybe the Lord of the Rings inspired me the most, partly because I travelled New Zealand just after the return of the king.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hike from holland to budapest. It's amazing how diverse the people are you meet in 4 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach is basically about what book I'm reading at that time. I get inspired heavily by well writen non-fiction and love to share my latest revelations.

I want to learn how to play music, how to cook local dishes and I'd love to improve my Japanese skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have my own way of looking at the world and I love to share my views and experiences. I love it even more to discover other peoples perspective, have a discussion and learn from it. I strongly believe in the power to inspire by a positive and honoust attitude, so that's something I want to both learn and teach.
