Overview
About Me
I'm Felix, 28 years old and just finished my studies in law.
There's no point in listing all the things I like and those I don't because this could be done much more precisely and time-savingly in only one brief sentence: I love live and appreciate every single moment of it!
So as you could guess from this statement, I would describe myself as a rather optimistic person who is pretty easy to handle and who always tries to make the most of life, for me and all the others I'm in contact with.
Since 2010 I am vegan for ethical reasons which means that I don't eat, wear or exploit animals in any way . Because of the fact that non-human beings have vital interests as well (just as the interest not to suffer or to live in accordance with their nature), I always try to minimize my negative impact on others lifes.
However, I am absolutely no militant fundamentalist, so I prefer explaining my point of view to other people rather than judging them for what they are or what they are not. I think this is the best way to eliminate avoidable barriers in order to better understand each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing offers the best - and of course cheapest ^^ - way to get to know new, interesting people with different backgrounds and personalities. I think you can gain a lot from this mutual exchange, especially when you're in a foreign country or region you are not quite familiar with.
Interests
all kinds of physical exercise (runnig, swimming, cycling, ball games, climbing, calisthenics etc.), veganism, foreign cultures and international relations, music and practically everything that makes me feel alive :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: different genres like jazz, reggae, latino, electronic, classical etc. There's a type of music for every single mood so I wouldn't give preference to any of the genres mentioned above.
Movies: see music
Books: preferably non-fiction books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's not the extraordinary, spectacular things, but a lot of small, daily occuring, apparently unimportant things like a simple smile and some kind words or gestures towards others that count to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Be the change you want to see in the world (Ghandi).
