About Me

Hi there habibis! I'm Felix, a 22 year-old German and Art History student. I love to travel and meet new people on the way. A few years ago I went interrailing with my friends and have loved travelling ever since! I consider myself very independent and love to cook (especially pasta!) whenever I get the chance. My interests include: hiking, photography, cooking, travelling, reading..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only is it a great alternative to other sharing platforms, but the direct contact one gets from Couchsurfing (talking and getting to know the locals) makes travelling more personal and memorable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm very flexible when it comes to music. I like to listen to a variety of things and I try not to be snobby about it. I like going to gigs first and foremost and try to go as often as I can without going into debt. My favourite bands and artists go from Velvet Underground to Van Morrison to Real Estate to Oscar Peterson to Joao Gilberto. I am a devoted supporter of Spotify and find it is a great way to listen to what is new and to rediscover the old!

Movies: Again it's quite difficult to say.. Woody Allen would be up there (Midnight in Paris, Manhattan, Play It Again, Sam) as would any Wes Anderson film (Darjeeling Limited being my personal favourite) but my favourite film would have to be The Third Man.

Books: I like to read non-fiction mainly but one book that I love is The Age of Magic by Ben Okri.
