Spirituality is important to me and I'm a practicing occultist. I have a lot of respect and interest in others' faiths and paths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an ftm femme bear. I'm afraid to stay in hostels in case I get harassed for how I present myself. I often travel with friends or with one or more of my partners, and as most of my friends are also trans or genderqueer, I need to know I can make them comfortable as well. I'm also kinda poor and my choices for lodging, when traveling, are very limited. I love to meet new people, though, and I'd like to think I'm at least kinda funny!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Transitioned. I think everyone who transitions is really damn brave and is doing something amazing. Cis culture and the patriarchy doesn't want us to, and we do it anyway. Always be yourself. <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about cooperatives as I travel, and about social issues affecting the country including but not limited to: ways to combat climate change and reduce carbon footprint while still living in cities, anti-gentrification, fighting the opioid epidemic, police brutality and what can be done about it, etc.

I'm also always down to learn about upcycling fabrics and acccessories to give them new life. Crafts are a ton of fun, and they help us extend the life of the items we own and find so they are less likely to wind up in a landfill.

Art's always been an interest of mine. I like collaborating on art with others. I was an art student while I was in school. I really like learning more about techniques, anatomy, etc. but I also have picked up a fair amount along the way that I would love to share with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge of cooperatives and social justice issues, especially queer and trans issues, although I gotta say, I'm still learning. I also have knowledge about occultism, and I can draw! I love showing people coloring techniques with markers, and helping redline anatomy. Again, always learning. I would really like to be able to collaborate and do vocals for others' noise projects, I think that would be a lot of fun! I can also share enthusiasm for comics, zines, film, animation, fashion.....
