I have study physics in Karlsruhe and ow I am doing my doctoral thesis on the topic of afforestation. I am interested in art, music and subculture. I play the guitar in a band and I also produce music. If i come to new cities i like to take pictures with my analog cameras. I am part of the Open Workshop Karlsruhe collective and interested in DIY and Commons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a nice way to see the world and make friends with lots of cool people. I appreciate(d) the anti commercial idea and think this is a nice way to show that people are interested in other people and places.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of Indie, Hardcore, 80s stuff and Funk. There a many movies but my all time favorites are Life Aquatic, Apocalypse Now and Metropolis. I like the books of Orwell, Camus and Erich Fromm. Recently I got into reading political ecology literature 🙃
