Overview
About Me
My name is Felix and I'm studying biology in Freiburg since two years now. This september I am going to start my Erasmus in Bologna and therefore I am currently learning italian and a lot about the italian culture. My hobbies are bouldering, skating, reading, to swim in a lake and to go on adventures with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing represents for me an alternative way of travelling aside hotels, hostels and airBnB. Not that I don't also use these platforms but I think none of them can compare to a couchsurfing experience. It's just a way to experience true hospatility, what for me means a kind of altruism, also in our western world where everything is designed for individualism.
Interests
Cycling, bouldern and playing piano
Music, Movies, and Books
The music I like is mostly in the categories indie and alternative rock but I'm always listening to different stuff and go on music exploring tours on Youtube.
I love to watch good movies and to explore some on platforms like mubi.com but of course also on netflix.
I read all different kind of books: novels, biographys and some science stuff. Whatever catches my eyes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking in Canada.
Roadtrips through Norway, Sweden and UK, especially the magnificient Scotland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make some quite good pancakes.
And sharing is caring.
I can of course teach you some german if you really want to learn this language.
And I can show you around the beautiful town of Freiburg.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Through several couchsurfings hostings I became quite a good tour guide for Freiburg I guess.
