I'm open-minded, laid-back, sometimes crazy and very sporty with excess of energy.

Being from a small town in the so called 'Black Forest' I'm into big city vibes, but also into country-side escapes.
This year I left my job in Strategy Consulting to 'get more settled', have time for my passions - and am now extremely happy to finally host more travellers and give back to the community 🥰.

I love travelling, to get in contact with new people, learn about their culture and language.
Travelling is a lot more fun, interesting and easier together and Couchsurfing makes travelling less expensive.
But most of all Couchsurfing made me have so many unexpected, random, weird and spontaneous experiences!
Staying in hotels you can't learn anything about local people, their mindset and customs.

In my childhood I read an incredible amount of novels inspired by historical settings and since a few years I am trying out different kinds of books, currently enjoying popular science.

I love audio books and podcasts for listening while walking or in public transport - shoot out your recomendations!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Volunteer year in a small natives town at the carribean cost of Nicaragua, working with children and teenagers in precarious circumstances. It was a not always comfortable, but amazing experience!
Hitch-hiking on fishing boats to the cayos miskitos 40km east of the Nicaraguan shore - stopped by the maritime military forces and just escaped a hurricane.

La comunidad de Couchsurfing en Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Núnca he visto un grupo de CS así. Son increíbles, ni sé de que contar, los campamientos, la ilimitada disponibilidad a ayudar, el cariño, las salidas?
Estoy super agradecido y orgulloso de haber podido compartir un tiempo con ellos :)

Ho lavorato un estate in una malga nelle dolomiti. Ero camariere nel restaurante con una vista meravigliosa alle montagne en un luogo molto famigliare con persone carinissime. Ma sopratutto ho imparato italiano - italiano gastronomico 😁 Ma anche ho fatto fieno per le mucche, ho aiutato in stalla e latteria per fare formaggi e ricotte.

I can teach you everything related to my beloved Alps and Black Forest, where I grew up (culture, food, spoken dialect, geography, history).
I can help you with some language knowledge and share travelling experience (especially Latin America) and some crazy hiking, mountain and outdoor stories.
If you're into dancing, I can show you some Bachata steps.
