I studied in Italy and other parts of the world, but now I'm back in Hamburg to finish my master degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for several reasons: I like giving back to the community that hosted me on several occasions, I like meeting new people and I like having people around the house. But most of all: I like learning from different people and try to see the world from another perspective. Hosting for me is the perfect way to experience the world when I don't have the possibility to travel.

Interests

Since the age of 6 I played soccer and after a break I started playing American Football, which I have recently rediscovered. I also play Chess sometimes. I started sailing when I was 6 and try to continue now.

In any other free time I read or cook or eat or sleep ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read many different books at the same time. A recent favorite is Tyll by Daniel Kretschmann.

I don't watch many movies. Instead I follow some series: The Newsroom or The Wire for example.

Music whise, I listen to everything as long as it is not too extreme. For some reason Eminem helps me a lot during my study days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing I've done so far:

Swimming with seals in Kaikoura, New Zealand. It was just awesome. Way better than swimming with Dolphins.

I can teach you the underlying principles of the free market capitalism. Not sure though that they are much on vogue right now
