Overview
About Me
I am a 21 y.o. business psychology student. I like playing tennis, horseriding, football (sports in general), used to play the piano. Also I enjoy talking about all kinds of subjects, from philosophy to technology, politics and especially futurology with friends and likeminded people :)
My profile is not verified because honestly I do not see the point of paying 20 bucks a year just to have a green dot displayed next to my name. The argument that this shows a certain "seriousness" about couchsurfing seems like an excuse to charge money for a service that should be free.
I understand that you may have concerns, especially since I am new to CS and do not have references. I will be happy to find a way to establish my trustworthiness. We can have a quick chat via skype/etc.
Also, I think it is common courtesy that if somebody lets you sleep in their home, the least you can do is bring them a little gift or cook a nice meal/take them out for one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heard about CS a few years ago from friends, since then I have always wanted to try it. Usually I take a tent with me when traveling, but CS seems like a nice way to meet interesting people and get in contact with locals, share interesting stories and so on.
Interests
I enjoy both watching and doing sports, talking with friends about a wide range of stuff, and thinking about how the future of humanity will look. I do tennis training for children from a local club.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: trip hop, some electronic music, some acoustic stuff like kings of convenience, sometimes classical (I enjoy going to classical concerts and my hometown has a pretty renowned orchestra: the Bamberger Symphoniker).
In general a very wide range and I will listen to almost anything if it sounds good.
Huuuge Portishead fan though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I go to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships every year and camp in the Queue for at least a week. Have met soooo many amazing people from all over the world there, and quite a few of them not only once!
Longest bicycle trip: ~500km, but I am hoping to cycle from my home town all the way to London sometime in the next few years (yeah, for Wimbledon. You guessed right. )
Teach, Learn, Share
In high school I started learning Chinese (Mandarin), now I am looking to get back into it. I can teach you how to cook some traditional German meals that are very good but also very easy to prepare. If you are learning German, I will be more than happy to help polish your skills :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
stories, lots of random knowledge and philosophical theories. Also some German culinary skills.
In general I get along well with almost everybody so no matter who you are we will find something to talk about and learn from each other :)
