Interests

I am doing a degree in English Literature at the moment. I am also working as a swimming teacher, which I have been doing for several years now and really enjoy. I like spending time with children as they are so honest and full of energy. I play piano, organ, clarinet, banjo and guitar. I am also into art, have done a lot of life-drawing in Brighton. I enjoy cooking, I put raisins or pineapple in everything...

Music, Movies, and Books

Tarantino films are my guilty pleasure. Saw a good film the other day, The Lives of Others. Planet Earth is groovy. There's a great one on caves.
Into most music which can raise your hairs in a good way. Classical, dancey,folky, whatever.
Books - like Richard Dawkins. I like to read the Guardian weekend, although it varies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoyed seeing Egypt, there were so many unexpected things. Hitching in the back of a camel truck was pretty fantastic. No seat belts of course. Squeezing three of us into the back of a tiny tuc tuc was also hilarious. A male friend got lots of compliments on having two wives...

Seeing whales in the wild near cape town was also amazing.
