Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, so we will have some bands we like in common. But I definitely prefer music that is performed by musicians and not just DJs.
Some Movies I like are Machete, Law Abiding Citizen, Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds, Team America, Pineapple Express.
Michael Robotham, Simon Kernick and Harlan Coben are some authors I like to read on my travels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spontaneously staying at a local home in Lao after crossing the Thai Lao border at night with no idea where to go in the dark since the bus stop apparently was far off downtown. Slowing in hopefully the right direction I got picked up by a random dude (not English speaking) on a motorbike who invited me to join him and a friend for dinner at a restaurant. They ordered many dishes that we shared and it all tasted quite good but a red soup only me and the driver of the motorbike had tasted a little weird. They told me later the soup was consisting mainly out of duck blood.
I ended up spending the night at his house where I was offered more food that i couldn’t continue eating before going to bed. Sadly he got offended and the atmosphere went down a little. At night I woke up with full adrenaline and a pretty fast beating heart. It scared the shit outta me and I remembered I ate a lot of a weird but tasty plant with the soup and figured that was the reason. At the end I was richer of a crazy night and story.
