Overview
About Me
I'm quite a polite and well-educated fellow, don't get scared by the tattoos and frowny face!
I'm a shoemaker/cobbler, I like my job quite a lot, working with leather and shoes can get quite technical and creative. I like all kinds of crafts too, not that I'm any good in all of them but I like to work with wood, fix bikes, and so on.
I like to travel and visit other places, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting my youth! Landscapes, small towns, hiking, local pubs, sometimes (sometimes!) a museum, a punk festival or a squatterhouse, any of these can make my day.
About hosting, my appartment is quite small and quite central , I only have a old military bunk bed for guests but it's not as bad as it sounds, plus there's a roof and four walls, what's more to be needed? I'm usually quite busy on the weekends so i'm more likely to host from sunday to thursday, don't let that stop you from asking though.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Somehow lately I've been thinking that I needed to somehow enjoy our (nearly) borderless continent, and decided to travel around Europe for some months, so until October 2017 I'll be wandering, alone or with a friend, by car or motorcycle, aiming for England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, the whole Balkans area, Germany, Scandinavia, perhaps Italy, Hungary, Greece...
I'd like to meet people, local or travelers, share experiences, opinions, and a drink perhaps. Finding places to stay at would be a great plus, although meeting people is more important than a place to sleep.
Right now I'm riding from Germany to northern Italy through the Balkans, so I'll stop everewhere I can - Prague, Brno, Bratislava, Zagreb, Ljubljana... I'd be happy to meet people, local, travellers, whatever!
Interests
Music (from black metal to roots reggae, also punk, bit of hardcore, a little psychedelic, chanson française and so on), beer drinking, going out, series and comics, time with friends and a meal with a bottle of wine (french people, eh?) when I'm at home.
Otherwise, when traveling, hiking, nice landscapes, medieval cool stuff and stone age shit, historic neighborhoods, basically open to everything that doesn't imply techno music. Oh, and beer drinking and going out too, meeting people, sometimes sharing the road whith them for a while.
I also have a deep love for home made tattoos and the punk/rudeboy subculture, fantasy books or movies, and above all, freedom and independence!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing stories, teach the french way of life and the southern french accent, talk about the punk and oi! Subculture, about music, everything about shoes, travelling, cooking, help with stuff and so on!
