ABOUT ME

I'm a upbeat young woman looking for visiting different places and making more friends. I have a busy life, however I can always find time to have some fun.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my personal philosophy at this moment of my life is pretty much the Carpe Diem. We are young, we have a whole life ahed, but we never thank or enjoy the present as much as we plan the future or regret the past. I love my life today and that will lead me to a perfect future, I just have to seat back and enjoy the ride. Life's good.

I live with two friends right in the heart of São Paulo.

I love walking around taking pictures. I wish I knew how to work with my camera though...

I used to be very lazy, but I fell in love with the gym and I have a good time working out, specially cycling. I really want to travel by bike one day. I enjoy hiking and exploring caves.

When it comes to music I get really excited. I wouldn't live without it. I hate the fact that most people in Brazil like what's on the radio and stuff that is too comercial lacks both quality and personality.

I study languages at college, so I do like reading. Reading is much more fun now than when I was a teenager. I really want to make my students like reading. There's so much in a book that a TV will never tell you, but I have only realized that few years ago. I wish I had read more.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a big fan of Nick Hornby. My favorite novel written by him is "A Long Way Down" I totally found myself in the characters and I felt good to make part of the world. Sometimes we think we have a problem, but there are so many people around us with thousands of problems and they are still there facing life. It's a book that makes you think about life.
Another book that I read that I really liked was "Into the Wild". I know it now mainstream, but besides enjoying the way Jon Krakauer writes, I feel a lit bit jealous about "Alexander Supertramp". How many of us would have the guts to do what he did? How many of us felt out place like he did and actually did something about it?

I've seen couple of things that caught my attention. But there's a lot to be seen!

There's a saying here in São Paulo that I really like: Kindness generates kindness. I really think that's the way out! People must stop being selfish! People must stop being egocentric. The world is ours and it would be a better place if everybody looked a little less at their own belly button!
