About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fulfil Your Dreams And Never Look Back
ABOUT ME
To introduce myself, I am Felix and I come from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am currently working in London and would prefer to stay away the country at least once a month. I love to try different things when I am still capable of doing. There used to be financial constraint from traveling but now that I am working, I can afford to travel around. However, traveling to a city, staying in a hotel and visiting the tourist attractions may not be the best experience that I am looking for. I would prefer to live with the locals - that includes their lifestyle and day-to-day work. I enjoy cooking, taking photographs of scenery and architecture, and most importantly traveling.
I do enjoy walking in the park, taking nice photographs, foodie lover - to eat at different restaurant and doing some other leisure activities which interest me. I may not be good in sports but don't mind listening to what each individual wants to share. I can be talkative sometimes but it would be dependent on what we were talking about. I tend to be a good listener if anyone wants to do the talking. I always try to avoid any quietness or awkwardness in a conversation.
I guess I have written a lot now. Feel free to message me. I will usually reply to messages quite promptly.
Has anyone tried fried cockroach or scorpions? Looks like something authentic in Cambodia or Laos.
PHILOSOPHY
Living to fulfill your dreams and destiny.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I guess I would like to experience both surfing and being a host for different people from different parts of the world. I am pretty sure CS will definitely help me to realise my dreams.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few people to my place in London now.I am quite fortunately to have my first surfing experience in February 2011 when I was in Dubai by Borisz Merei. He has been a great host, writing some welcoming message to me, offering breakfast and drinks at his place. Also, he has been showing me around Dubai, covering most of all the attractions which I really enjoy the most. I have picked up some new hosting skills that I can use them for my next surfer in the future. Seeing the beautiful Northern Light in Iceland.
There is nothing extreme that I have done at the moment but will definitely update this section in the future.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not sure if I can teach anything. I wouldn't mind sharing but wouldn't call that as teaching. I am good in cooking and therefore perhaps I can teach people about cooking some nice Malaysian food. Knowledge in computer (since I am in IT), therefore I should be able to help you with some computing stuff if you need me to. I can also teach you how to speak Malay and Cantonese.
To learn -> Loads! I guess first of all would most likely learning the culture and lifestyle of the country that I am going to visit.
Share -> Everything that all of us have in common, can't really think much now but definitely there will be stuffs which we will be able to share and treasure it ourselves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking some Chinese dishes, my travel experience and life in general.
