Hi! I'm Fernanda, I'm 33 years old and I love traveling (who doesn't?). I've always wondered about traveling around the world for one whole year, but I've never had the courage to quit my job until last year. Yes! My dream became a plan, and this plan became reality! So me and my husband started our journey on April 17th from Brazil to Japan, where we stayed for one month, after that we went to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Romania,Bulgaria, England and Scotland. Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I think traveling is about meeting and interacting with others as well as trying local food, so staying at peoples‘ houses is the best way to really get to know a place! The best memories I have from all travels I’ve made are all about the people I’ve met! And traveling is the best way to get rid of prejudices and really understand the world.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I think I've already done some amazing things, such as: traveling with a huge backpack 5 years after having a lower back surgery! I also had a heart surgery, skydiving and ocean diving, I had climbed the Vila Rica volcano in Chile although I though I wouldn’t be able to do it, trying different sorts of foods like cockroaches and scorpions.

I can try to teach a little bit of samba! :) And my husband can cook! (Although I don’t know how to cook, I love washing dishes!)
