ABOUT ME

I consider myself a feminist peace activist. I'm a student at CSU Long Beach studying Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and minoring in Theatre Arts (lighting design). I'm going to finally graduate this May! I've been away from couch surfing for a while so don't be discouraged by my low reply rate :) I live with my partner (male) in a comfy apartment in mid-town long beach.

I've hosted surfers from Turkey and Canada and hope to host more! I've also stayed with some great people in France and England.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I've always been one to give my couch to anyone who needed it. And now I just hope to help more and make new friends!

I don't do as much reading as I would like, but luckily my program has me reading some really great stuff. Feminist and Queer Theory and my shero - bell hooks <3

Movies: This is a big one, I love watching movies, mostly documentaries. "Very Young Girls" is heartbreaking but really important to see. I like food documentaries and recently watched "Forks Over Knives" I also like gender and sexuality documentaries like "Middle Sex" - very interesting.
