ABOUT ME

I am a very open-minded and sociable person who really loves to see life in all its facets.

That's why I'm addicted to travelling. I wanna see as many places, cultures and people as possible. Every time I leave home to go out and explore the world, I return with new experiences, amazing friends I've met along the way, and fascinating insights into foreign cultures and ways of life.

I grew up in Hamburg, Germany but since then I've lived in different cities all around the gobe - Berlin, Munich, Le Mans, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and Auckland. And I got to know the feeling of being welcome among strangers, of being alone but not lonely at all, and of feeling home at the other end of the world...

PHILOSOPHY

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am getting started to plan my next big trip, I hope to meet lots of fellow Couchsurfers on the way. I am looking forward to hanging out with locals, getting off the beaten path far away from the tourist trails, and simply having an authentic far-away experience with lovely people around. Show me your place, share your home with me, connect me with people, and maybe one day I'll be able to show you around in my home country in return :)

Interests

In my free time I like to read, do sports, get outdoors, and listen to music. I'm also interested in dance, photography and of course in travelling. I love meeting friends (both at home and abroad) and I am a passionate writer. Maybe one day I'll write my own book. Still collecting moments, stories, and inspiration to share ;)
