ABOUT ME

I am a Michicharlestonian on a mission to take over the world. I enjoy pondering, new city exploring, tacky christmas sweaters, sitting at trendy cafes and pretending to be an under appreciated elitist and also one on one rhyming competitions (freestyle rap fighting, if you will). I am a pretty pleasant person.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes life gives you lemons and somebody has zested them before you can make your lemonade.

That's it. Sometimes you can't have lemonade. It might be too cold out anyways.

Hosted so many awesome people, and have been hosted by lots of wonderful people all over the east coast and general midwest.

兴趣

Salvador Dali, meeting old lifers waiting at the bus stop, the smiths, conan o'brien fantasies, and chewing the same piece of gum for many days in a row.

Also drinking coffee, playing board games, and doing things that would not be fun if not for the enjoyment of the people around me.
And I enjoy correcting grammatical errors, as long as they are not my own.

Books: The Secret life of salvador dali, i am secretly a very important man, of human bondage, off the map, the raw shark texts, of human bondage, popaganda, the little prince, anything by patricia palacco, animal farm, any muppet babies book still in existence, and any book filled with many beautiful pictures that can keep me occupied for many hours.

Also, Mary Ellen Mark is an amazing photographer that I suggest you immediately research and marvel at.

Music: Anything that I can like enough to listen to over and over again for a few days, music that can become my soundtrack to whatever I am doing, and music that cannot be the soundtrack but must be what I am doing.

Movies: I like good movies and movies that I know are bad but still enjoy. Like Rockula.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

So there, I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

And also, anything and everything I saw in Costa Rica amazed me. I guess if I were to pick one, it would be ziplining (is that technically a word?) through the rainforest canopy.
