About Me
I'm Fer. 27 years. Mexican. Solar panels salesman. Catholic. FC Barcelona fan. Easy going guy. About to get married (save me please). Food lover. Amateur photographer. Bad singer. Even worse writer. Happy human being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was in Europe last year and unfortunately I couldn't travel as I thought: being a local.
All the world is an amazing landscape and adventure but there's no better way to get into it than living as citizen of every country or city you visit.
Watching the cities through the eyes of a local OS everything you need to get in love with a city. This is the reason why I want to be part of CS.
Interests
Well, this is a list about things I'm interested in :
- Happiness
- Spiritual growth
- Travelling
- Photography (check my Instagram: Fobostream)
-Reading (I love Saramago, Octavio Paz, García Marquez, H. P. Lovecraft, Santiago Posteguillo, Cortazar, Benedetti and Massimo Manfredi)
- DIY projects
-Floristry
- FC Barcelona
- Food (I really appreciate a well cooked meal)
- Listen to music (Billy Joel, Sinatra, Elvis, AC/DC, Scorpions, Pablo Milanes, Emmanuel, and more)
I could write a letter about my interests, but it'd probably be boring. I prefer you to know my interests while drinking a glass of wine.
Music, Movies, and Books
Ok, can you please repeat the question? Hahaha, I love so many kinds of music, rock and roll, heavy metal, casical, instrumental, ballads, oldies, ranchera (is a beautiful Mexican kind), pop. But I'll try to mention some of my favorite bands/singers: Elvis, Sinatra, The Beatles, Queen, Alan Parsons Project, Michael Jackson, Yanni, Luis Miguel, Scorpions, George Michael and BILLY JOEL.
BOOKS, all kind of stuff, but I really love, Lovecraft, Saramago, Marquez and Paz. My favorite book is Ensayo sobre la ceguera.
Movies: I'll post my top ten
1. The Godfather (part 1)
2. A beautiful mind
3. My name is Khan
4. Finding Nemo
5. Toy Story
6. The sword in the stone
7. Les Miserables
8. Batman the dark night rises
9. Gladiator
10. The Patriot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Europe last year. I have never traveled alone. I scheduled all my trip by myself. I did it. Probably it's something everybody has done it. But traveling 15 thousand miles away from my home, being in countries that I've never been before, discovering different cultures and all by myself it was a great experience for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mexican culture is my biggest heritage and I'll be excited to teach you about it. Since my mesoamerican ancestors, Aztecas, Mayas, Toltecas, Totonacas, Mixtecas, Otomies, getting through Spanish conquer and the amazing results of it.
I believe in international brotherhood, so, whatever you want to teach me about you or your city, your culture, your interests, I'll be very grateful.
Greatest thing I have in my life is "time" so, I promise to share it with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer my honesty, my help, I offer them my culture and all possible love I can give. I am ready to help with the house duties, to take care of your dog, wash dishes after dinner. But I offer my most valuable thing, my friendship.
