Overview
About Me
I m single and I moved to Liberia, a rural area near the beaches of coast west Costa Rica since 2014. I like dogs but I don`t have one because I really don`t know where I will be in future and I believe pets are a responsability. I like to swim, both pools and ocean, I practice yoga once a week and Chi Kung almost every day. I am allergic to gluten, is like a protein in cereals like wheat. I don`t smoke and do no drugs but ocasionally drink, I used to drink beer as my favorite drink but as a result of my gluten allergy I can only drink gluten free beer and is hard to find in my country. I am doctor, I work part time at University of Costa Rica and I `m getting a master degree in health services administration. I like to study, learn about languages and different cultures, read but I don`t describe myself as a "nerd". I prefere pop music or rock, I like lyrics more than music but I`m not an expert about music, I listen the one I like even if I don`t know who plays.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I`m going to travel with my brother next november to Europe, he suggest we can stay in local people home by couchsurfing, so I decide to try the experience right now and offer people a room at my home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Joaquin Sabina, U2, Coldplay, Maná, La quinta estación. May be sound childish but I read all Harry Potter`s books and other magic literature like Patrick Rothfuss and Trudi canavan books, also Veronica Roth saga "divergent". Also I love classics for example Herman Hess, Jane Austen, Umberto Eco, José Saramago.
Related to movies I love drama and comedy, but to Adam Sandler`s movies! Intelligent movies, ironic ones, something that make think about or make you smile when you remember it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last june I climbed the biggest mountain in Costa Rica about 3820m.s.n.m (altitude).
I volunteer in Guinea Bissau as physician in 2013 for a month at Casa Emmanuel Organization.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you local beaches, places to have fun and teach you how to cook "gluten free cousine" that is more healthy. I will share my life style so people get a better idea about latins.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a room at my apartment right know I use it for computer and books, share bathroom and kitchen, but people can cook gluten products (bread, cookies, spaguetti, oat) because they will contamine my home and I get sick, but they can store them away from me. I got internet access and washing machine no dryer.
Countries I’ve Visited
Brazil, Czech Republic, El Salvador, England, France, Germany, Guinea-Bissau, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Portugal, Spain, United States
