About Me

I've been traveling on and off, running a successful online business and writing about experiences for open-minded people. I enjoy getting to know different cultures around the world so I try to do it at least a couple times a year. I also love to show the beauty side of Santo Domingo and Zona Colonial, where I live, to incredible travelers passing by and make their time here as fun as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know the greatest people all over the world (probably you). The "world-citizen" concept doesn't lie on where we live, but in our heads. It also doesn't mean you pay taxes everywhere, lol.

Interests

I enjoy nature, writing, listening and talking for hours (if it's worthy). I can also enjoy moments of silence which are also a form of communication. I'm very open-minded and always looking to explore ideas, even for fun.

Favorite book of the year: Empire of Pain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in a Mexico Hostel I made a 55 inches Venezuelan "Pepito" for everyone with some garlic sauce, chicken, cheese, bacon, dried fries, cabbage, carrot. This one Jeweish girl said it wasn't Kosher and wasn't sure about it, but in the end due to everyone saying it was delicious, she had a bite and felt terrible for loving it (so I guess the amazing thing was the Pepito, lol). I wonder if she ever broke out of orthodoxy again, or will keep the one a fun memory forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nobody actually exists as an independent self. We're more like the result of our own interactions, and we'll always be a slightly or entirely different person depending of whom we are with. Sometimes, that can make us learn new, interesting things about ourselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Top-notch guidance: I really know most of the local places and where locals go, not just the tourist, out of personality places. I will try to understand exactly what you want to do, and make a unique, outstanding plan for you, and how to make it happen.

I will host you of course, and cook something delicious. As a flexitarian, most of my meals are vegetarian and delicious. You will have access to my Vitamix blender for amazing smoothies, and my airfryer for guilt free fries.
