About Me
Hey there :)
I'm Nadine, I'm 26 and I've just finished my state exam here in Germany and will be a trainee teacher for English and psychology from Sep 2018 on - but before that I need some adventure!
I'm going to Australia in Febuary for a working holiday and would love to meet some interesting people there!
I can be quite bubbly and I‘m usually open to any fun activity and really into meeting new people :) But I also need and enjoy some quiet hours for myself here and then to recharge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far, I've had only positive experience with couchsurfing - it makes it so easy to meet new people you wouldn't have come in touch with otherwise. While traveling I think it's the best way to find an accomodation, because you have the best experts for where to go and what to see right there living with you. You can share meals, conversations, new hobbies and experiences with yor host, and I really appreciate learning about new things and opinions. Meeting locals is the most genuine way to really get to know a place, it's just fantastic!
Interests
I really like being active and love trying new sports!
Yoga is one of my favourite things to do, I try to do that every morning with some additional meditation.
Also I'm quite passionate about sewing, especially sewing bags became my passion somehow.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy very different kinds of music and can't really tell what music i like the most. I enjoy electronic music a lot, but also modern classic, hiphop, triphop, music from the 60s, 70s, 80s... actually a bit of everything :)
During my teenage years I tried to find myself in so many different subcultures that my taste of music is quite diverse.
I'm not too much of a reader, though. For a time I was feeling that this was a bad thing, but by now I've just accepted that reading is just no passion of mine :D
There is one German author I occasionally read books by and for my studies I had to read some important English literature, which I actually liked most of the tome, but I just don't take the time to read...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You know what they said in this movie Moulin Rouge „The greatest thing you‘ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return“.
I am lucky to have found exactly that and I think that‘s pretty much the most precious experience I have ever had.
Teach, Learn, Share
To anyone, who is interested, I could teach basic sewing skills! Making somehting yourself is such a nice feeling that I would love to share :)
I was teaching yoga and fitness classes at university, which I genuinely enjoyed, so if you want to get into that, I'm more than happy to show you some moves and techniques!
I'm always interested in cooking recipes. I LOVE cooking and eating and I'm glad to share any meal or to have some cooking time together!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully good laughs, German dishes and excitement for life :)
