About Me

I'm 27 years old, graduated in Biological Science and currently on a masters degree on Zoology, working with shark genetics.

I'm upbeat, I can say that I have a great sense of humor and love to talk and meet new people, sharing experiences and learning things from different cultures.

I love dancing, watching movies (all sorts), hanging out with friends, playing boardgames, video games, soccer, volleyball and other sports :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've joined Couchsurfing in order to find and talk with different people around the world, trying to experience different cultures with the locals when travelling. I've visited a few countries but always stayed at friend's houses, hotels and hostels.

Now I'm going to participate in a Advanced Genetic course in EUA and travelling alone, so I'm thinking to spend some time in the USA to travel around and would love to use couchsurfing to meet new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Dot the I, Ruby Sparks, The Constant Gardener, Hidden Figures among others :)

Music: All sorts of styles, from Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez to Dire Straits and Metallica. I also love latin musics!

Books: Huge Tolkien fan, love Jane Austin and I like to read Marian Keyes' books to relax ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thats a hard question!

So, I've wrote an article regarding shark meat consumption and mislabeling in Southern Brazil. It was a pretty cool experience that I was proud of!

Hmmm, what more...
I've lived for 1 year and a half in Australia in an exchange study program and that was also a pretty great experience, going abroad by myself, living for the first time away from my family and friends, studying abroad in another language. It was a great experience for me, I met several wonderful people and made good friends, who are present in my life until today. I really laughed and learned a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak portuguese, english and spanish so I can help people out with some of those languages. I know something about biology as well XD so we can have great talks!

I would love to learn about different cultures, see new places, meet new people and learn new food recipes!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like to cook, specially veg dishes! So we can share recipes and make some dinner as well :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Thailand, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
