Mi nombre es Fernando, vivo en Buenos Aires (Argentina) y trabajo hace más de 10 años en el área de Sistemas como desarrollador web.

Siempre me gusto viajar a lugares desconocidos para mi. Se lo debo a mis padres principalmente, por plantar esa semilla en mi cuando era chico. Siempre tuvimos la oportunidad de vacacionar fuera de mi ciudad. De grande esa semilla germinó y hoy no puedo parar en pensar cuando y adonde me iré de viaje.

Me encanta viajar por el mundo a lugares que no conozco. Conocer su cultura, su comida, su arquitectura y su historia. Sacar fotos de todo y compartirlas, es la manera que tengo de recordar cada lugar en el que estuve.

Me gusta hacer trekking y conocer las atracciones naturales de cada país. Caminar y caminar por montañas o bosques me da el aire que la rutina en la ciudad me quita.

Antes viajaba solo, ahora, viajamos junto a mi compañera de ruta, Mary, para seguir con este viaje que espero nunca acabe.

Una frase que me marcó: "Todavía creo en el paraíso. Pero ahora sé, que no es un lugar que se pueda buscar. Porque no es dónde vayas, sino cómo te sientes en un momento de tu vida, cuando eres parte de algo. Y si encuentras ese momento, dura para siempre."

I always like to travel to places unknown to me. I owe to my parents mainly, for planting that seed in me when I was a kid. We always had the opportunity to vacation outside of my city. Decidí embarcarme en Couchsurfing por que es la principal red para conocer y compartir momentos con otras personas con las mismas afinidades que yo.

Esto se trata de colaborar y ayudarnos entre todos. Hoy me alojan en sus casas y mañana los alojo en la mía. Hoy me enseñan sus ciudades, yo les enseño la mia. Hoy por ti, mañana por mi.

Como profesional tengo la suerte de trabajar en lo que me gusta. Crear aplicaciones informáticas empezó siendo un hobby para luego transformarse en una profesión.

Otro hobby mio es sacar fotografías con mi Canon. La fotografía y la edición de imágenes me entretiene y cada vez le dedico mas horas.

Y cuando estoy tranquilo me pongo a planear nuevos viajes o a ver series y películas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No me resulta increíble, pero subirme por primera vez a una moto y aprender a andar en el sudeste asiatico fue algo que nunca me imaginé.

También hacer trekking en lugares remotos y totalmente solo, como en el Cañon del Colca en Perú, o en el Chalten Argentina
