I'm Ferdi. I live in Kalimantan in the island of Borneo, the third largest island in the world. It is owned by three countries (Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei).
If you don't recognize Borneo, then I'm pretty sure that you know 'Orang Utan'. That animal originally from that island.
I like to meet new people, listen to their stories and discuss about any topics. I don't care what kind of person you are. If you are nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that. I like traveling and my dream is to travel around the world. Unfortunately, I work as an officer, that makes me hard to travel a lot. I really want to meet people from other countries. So I can get to know from them about their cultures, habits, cities, countries, languages, etc.

PHILOSOPHY - Success is a Journey, not a destination. That's why I like traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed and hosted many times with travelers from some countries. I meet new people, make friends, and have great moments with them. They become my new families. Because of Couchsurfing! Almost all my trips, I go alone. I meet many local people, they help. They treat me well. So, it's time for me to do the same. Doing anything I can to help. Because I believe that If I do good things to anyone, the kindness will also come to me as well. I attend the CS gathering, meet up, explore around with travelers and join the events. And whenever you meet me or I'm your host, I'm gladly to be your local guide.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

- Jump over the waterfalls about 20 metres of height. I did it with my fear.
- Get lost in the deep of Borneo jungle for 9hours. In the middle of the night with no phone signal, no food & drinks, no flashlight, no outdoor tools.
- Entered Malaysia illegally through hitchhiking overland Borneo.
- I missed my flight several times due to falling asleep at the airport.
