I am a 60 year old father of 2 kids (Born in 2000 and 2003). Have worked my whole life in Financial Services and decided it was time for a change. Left my job and am currently working self employed, from assignment to assignment.
For a new assignment I really like to switch to something completely different because new experiences give me a lot of energy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting other people. Not only travel but connect with others. Traveling on the motorcycle usually means traveling on my own. That’s great for the ride but at the end of the day traveling is also about meeting people and exchanging stories and views.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I “rescued” an English guy out of the Mediterranean Sea when I was 20 years of age. Pulled him out on my own, but unfortunately he did not make it.
On a more pleasant note: I drive a motorcycle since I was 18 and it gives me a lot of pleasure to travel around without a destination.
