About Me

Soy músico y escritor y vivo en Berlin.

I live in Berlin where I make a living as a writer and a musician, playing in my band called Hippie End Love Resonator and others. I share my apartment with my girlfriend and a little black dog called Molli.
When I was sixteen, I spent a year in Australia, and I have travelled to some other places in the meantime. Last year, I spent four months on a cruise ship playing bar piano. We went once around the world, but we went way to fast! Traveling slow is the best thing.
I am friendly, intelligent and short-sighted. And I am vegan, meaning I do not eat animals, because I think it is the right thing to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Para encontrar y conocer gente :-).

I have travelled a lot, met good people and hosted some, though not yet through couchsurfing. There are so many different places on the world, but what makes the difference really interesting are the people - they are the heart of a place; if it is not a forest, of course, then the birds and the boars and the bears will be the heart of the place, I suppose, but they are not hosting :-). It is great to meet people when traveling and I believe couchsurfing can be a great way of doing so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: blues, jazz (from Errol Garner to EST), Pink Floyd, Göksel Yilmaz Ensemble, Supertramp, the Beatles and many more.

Movies: There will be blood, some of the old Frank Capras and Hitchcock movies, the old Clint Eastwood stuff, Cospiracy and many more.

Books: Everything by Somerset Maugham, some short stories from Cortazár, Erich Kästner, Kurt Tucholsky, The Lord of the Rings, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just today it was the 1st of April. We have the tradition of April Fool's day where you play little pranks on people... I wrote a blog article about the German chancellor Angela Merkel going vegan and prohibiting all industrial meat production, and it had quite a run on facebook.
Well, maybe not so amazing... maybe something more adventurous.
I saved my little brother from drowning once by jumping in after him. That was pretty heroic. Well, I admit that it was a small pond, only three by three metres, and there were no waves and it was a party with many people present, but still, without me, the small guy might have gone under.

Teach, Learn, Share

cocinar, tocar música, inventar cosas!

The best thing to share are words! I like to talk, philosophize, invent stuff. I also like to cook vegan food. I could teach you the secret of scrambled tofu...
And I would be more than happy to play music for and with my hosts. I also know a couple of languages (see above) and I have experience teaching them. I could tell you a story or listen to yours, or we make up one together.
