Overview
About Me
A curious lad, currently im-between jobs in Netherlands after finishing up my PhD. Trying to be an open-minded person, and is particularly interested in how politics, religion, and society works (that's what you get when you're doing science for too long). Up to a lengthy discussion, mostly asking question though. Got uncomfortably sleepy after glasses of beer/wine or after 10 pm, so not into night scene pretty much. But is always up for a long stroll on the city at night. Oh, and beach too!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling should be about making stories and memories instead of taking selfies in front of a famous landmark (though it will do wonder to your Instagram account). That's what I believe, though, and Couchsurfing will help me attain the goal, both as Host and Surfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Frankly, the best thing I've done is getting this scholarship to study in the Netherlands. This gave me two years worth of exploring Europe and meeting diverse people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn what is appropriate (or inappropriate) in your culture, also how to greet people in your language. In exchange, I will teach you how to greet people in Indonesian, maybe it will help you someday. What to share? Anything appropriate, I guess.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories about how you should visit Indonesia in your next holiday. And, if you're lucky, Dutch cookies or Indonesian jasmine tea.
