Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a free spirit, I’m guided by connections. I feel that best friends can sometimes be the ones we’ve just met! I trust in the now, and my instinctive mantras include ‘It will all be perfect!’

Interests

I’m not much of a drinker, but given the right occasion I can put a few beers away without getting wasted, but for me, I live to be healthy, and that involves cooking mostly organic food and clean diet. I retired from playing rugby and like to keep up with gym training, road biking, and summer swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kinda like choosing favourite food...But music wise I guess for me is the undiscovered tunes on Spotify. I have so many tastes, that each applies to different feelings in my daily life. Off the top of my head I think of Shantaram as an amazing read. I find movie these days are often loaded with agendas, so I find it hard to choose a current...So Shawshank Redemption still ranks for me!

Most recent was off piste snowboarding in the most amazing deep powder...that feeling when you’re deep within nature with friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what to say here, but, given the right company, I feel I have wisdom to offer, and for me, that’s about learning myself from the words/advice that come out of me! In other words, I love to be encouraged to share wisdom, but I’m actually speaking these words for the first time, and learning from what I’m saying if that makes sense.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My outgoing nature! Most of my friends have kids and are too busy to travel, or hang out these days, so, often I go to live gigs alone. I live in the centre of Dublin, right by a venue, in a really cool apt, my sofas are so comfy 😀
