About to graduate from university, studied Film and Literature, which was the best thing I ever did! I love angry European books, freaky music that hits yer solar plexus and pushes you into new realms of consciousness, meeting weird new people who open your brain up, seeing the world and exploring everywhere I can. I have written a novel which exists in my computer and the computer of some friends, I once made a zine, have performed poetry and given out chocolates, worked at a comedy club, edited for a journal, recorded an EP and got naked and painted green for a friend's film. I have an addiction to saying "yes" to anything that comes my way, which usually works out well! Like the man Nick Cave sez, the game is never won by staying in any one place for too long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess I believe in people. The whole kindness of strangers thing. So many of my best experiences have involved falling openly into the world and seeing how it goes. Sometimes the best friends I've made have been through sheer chance and being open to new people and moments. I've hosted friends on my couches and sometimes my bed before and it's always been a beautiful experience. I'm even staying on a friend's couch right now! There's the path of fear or the path of love, really. It's an easy choice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I traveled to Berlin with my school friends. One night we ended up hanging out with some squatters on some scaffolding watching the sun come up over the city. Some of us were playing guitar at the time, and a violinist randomly walking down the street past us joined us and we jammed to the morning together.
