we are a team of conservation focused professionals in Kalimantan Selatan. at the top, feri has a background in journalism but has chosen to focus on proboscis monkeys (bekantan) and their well being here in Kalimantan. my self, amalia, am a teacher and coordinator here at Sahabat Bekantan Indonesia (Friends of Proboscis Indonesia).

We offer our guests experiences that they will not find elsewhere. as a struggling conservation effort on an island where the main business is exploitation of the environment, we want to welcome travellers to stay at Puri Anggrek (Orchid Palace) hoping they will seize the opportunity to get involved and popularize this unexplored destination. we welcome you !
