ABOUT ME
I'm a Mexican-American from New York City. I graduated in May 2008 from Columbia University, and lived in Japan from August 2008 to July 2010. It was a great experience. It was definitely much better seeing the great architectural pieces in person.
I am looking forward to returning to the U.S. in August and hopefully getting a job related to my experience in Japan.
PHILOSOPHY
Worry about the things you can control, let go of the things you can't.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The least I can do is offer my couch for fellow travelers and show them the local sites. Establish a good karma. What goes around, comes around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first two guests were 2 couples, and they have been great. One couple was Scandanavian and they were awesome and walked for 3 hours to a freaking temple!!! The other couple were French, and they were...French! They were awesome and i loved hearing them speak French! Aside from that, I've hosted other friends from within the prefecture as well as other wonderful couchsurfers since then.
