About Me

Hello 👋☺️
We are a couple from Argentina backpacking around India and Nepal.
In 2022, we met in a small island in Panama, Central America, where we worked as medical doctors for a NGO.

We want to live our lives in a simple way, respecting the nature and we think that every person and place impact our lives and every meeting is an opportunity of growing and learning.
We believe that every decision we make impact in our destiny and that this present moment is all that we really have. We want to live this experience in this world living to the fullest, loving and caring for each soul that comes into our lives and experiencing the beauty of this Earth.
We also love being in a quiet place, enjoying the serenity of nature, meditating, singing and playing instruments, cooking, swimming, snorkeling, doing yoga and contemplating the simple things.

Here a little about each of us:
Fermin 🧔: I am a simple and calm person, who likes to talk about various topics of general interest (and I like to listen to people). Culture, sports, philosophy, art, health, entertainment...etc.
I also make music (my own and latinamerican). I play guitar, percussion and some wind instruments. Music is my anchor to the earth. And I love to share it at all times.
I like playing sports like football, tennis, volleyball. I also enjoy playing board games.
I love cooking, but most of all I enjoy tasting the food that others prepare and learning how to make it.

Ber🙋‍♀️: I am open minded, enjoy my freedom and I love sharing time with people who can teach me and share their passion about this world and universe. I practice yoga, acrobatics (aerial silks) and Vipassana meditation. I love learning new things, especially about spirituality. I move in this world following my heart, always with a smile and trying to keep it simple. Every little thing that happens and people that come into my life brings growth to my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are enjoying a long journey in the beautiful country of India. We like traveling with a flexible plan and visiting the different cities at a slow pace, seeing its sightseeing and also relaxing. That's why staying at CS friends houses can give us the feeling of being at home, not only traveling as a tourist.
We love seeing the world through the eyes of the locals. We think that experiencing Couchsurfing can give us the opportunity to go deeply into the culture, taste and people of the different countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fer: Music: Argentina's Folk (atahualpa yupanqui, los carabajal, mercedes sosa, leon gieco,) Rock Argentino (Bersuit, Los redondos, Cerati) and international (Pink Floyd, Beatles) I like exploring new music genders.
Movies. I don't know much about cine, but I enjoy watching movies and/or tv shows. I like watching sports
I love reding. I prefer shorts histories as Fontanarrosa or Galeano maded. Also, I like reading spirituality books.

Ber: books as "The power of Now" and "Stillness speaks" by Eckhard Tolle are always close to me to inspire me and bring me to the present. "Eat, pray, love" by Elizabeth Gilbert makes me dream about travelling and discovering new places in this world, especially about India and living an experience in an ashram there. "Autoliberacion interior" by Anthony de Mello.
Haven't been watching too many tv shows lately, but Greys Anatomy is one of my favorites.

Teach, Learn, Share

Fermin can teach you how to play the guitar, and some other instruments.
We would love to share a meditation sitting together.
Ber is always ready with her yoga mat to do a yoga session or work out.
We can share our experiences working as doctors in rural areas of Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua. These experiences have shown us how rich and different cultures can be and how important is to be flexible with our beliefs and traditions at the moment of talking and living with different people from all over the world.
We can share our favorite drink, the argentinian Mate. We love cooking and know a lot of delicious recipes from our country.
