About Me

I grew up in a small town in Devon, surrounded by countryside and close to the sea. I was brought up going to small alternative festivals, encouraged to be a free spirit, to question the world and to search for a deeper meaning in life. As such I am an adventurous spirit who feels most at home deep in nature amongst pixies, fairies, activists and wanderers and most alive when exploring new worlds of culture and food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connection is one of the most valuable things we have, in a world that can sometimes seem determined to divide us, meeting others that are seeking connection, choosing to trust and willing to open their hearts and homes is a reminder of the beauty in humanity. And to move away from dependence on money towards the exchange of time, skills, food, whatever else we may have to offer, to me, feels so much more wholesome than the prioritising of wealth.
As I try and find ways to align my dreams and passions with the needs and responsibilities of everyday life, Couchsurfing seems to me a great way to make this possible, and to meet others along their own journey.
I look forward to meeting new people, I am happy to spend time hanging out or site seeing, I also value my own space and company and am content doing my own thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Education of Little Tree and Watch for me on the Mountain are 2 of my favourite books.

I like all sorts of music, acoustic music to psytrance, anything that feeds my soul or makes me want to dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

5 months backpacking in India is both the hardest and best thing I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to cook your favourite foods and share mine with you. I have converted a shed and camper van into beautiful living spaces, using up-cycled old materials and enjoy sharing what I have learnt and of course continuing to learn more from others. I can also make macrame hair braids and simple macrame jewellery, and could show you how to do this. I enjoy outdoor physical work and am happy to help and learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am up for lively, interesting conversation where we can learn from each others cultures, experiences and passions. I would love share meals with hosts and cook my favourite meals for you. I am open and curious and look forward to meeting interesting people along my journey. I like to hang out, relax and have fun.

As a host I can offer a cosy home close to the sea and surrounded by beautiful countryside, I would love to share some of my favourite places with you and welcome you in to my family and friends.
