About Me

Hello, I'm Fernando, just like ABBA's song. I grew up in Brazil's Southern States, and never really got to travel, although that has always been my ultimate goal, I have worked as many things, from all the jobs I've had I can safely say that teaching languages is the one I like the most, so far anyways, I'm 30 years old now, I love music and art, and I think that's about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel abroad and be able to really know the places I'm visiting, for that nothing like having a native pal to show me around.

Interests

I love music, photografy, sports, long walks on the beach (kidding), literature is a big one, cinema too.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music right now is Nine inch nails' Closer and Deftones' 7 words

My favorite movies right now are The road to wellvile and Being John Malkovich.

My favorite books right now are Allen Ginsberg's Fall of américa, and one of my favorites from all time, Tropic of cancer by Henry Miller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've learned english all by myself, never had a proper lesson, also I've travelled pretty much like Kerouac in his novel On the road, for about 300 km on foot.
I've traveled through all of the Uruguayan coast up until Argentina's Capital Buenos Aires.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play the guitar, english and pugilism (boxing).

I'd like to learn how to grow organics, other self sustaining methods and other languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll share my love of literature, that is to say I'll always leave a good book behind as a token of appreciation for my host's hospitality.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, China, Thailand, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
