About Me

Hi, my name is Fernanda, people call me Feña. I'm from Chile and I arrived in Australia in April of this year after a long trip around South America, Mexico, and Canada. I started traveling after finishing university, and that marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I love everything that traveling can offer: new experiences, learning, meeting new people, gaining knowledge, and my deep love for nature and an active lifestyle.

It's my first time living in a big city, and it seems a bit crazy to me, but I'm loving the challenge. I'd like to meet people who enjoy hiking or going to raves to make my stay here more fun.

I'm a pretty easygoing person—relaxed, kind, and friendly. I move around following my dreams and heart.

I really enjoy trying out new sports, especially adventurous ones. I'm afraid of heights, but that doesn't stop me from putting in my best effort to visit new places or engage in activities that involve overcoming that obstacle. If you practice any sport and enjoy sharing it, here's someone who would be happy to have new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I left Chile in June 2022, and that's when I first discovered Couchsurfing. It allows me to meet new people who share a common love or interest in traveling. Starting from there, the conversations and exchange of knowledge are always extensive and meaningful. Couchsurfing enables me to meet quality individuals.

I think it's a great initiative to support each other as a travel community, to appreciate the local culture of every place I visit.
