I am a student of Veterinary Medicine, who loves all kinds of animals , and this influenced my decision to become a vegetarian .
I have always had the necessity of helping people and this made me participate in several volunteer jobs. These jobs and experiences helped to build who I am today .

I am in love with children therefore, most of my volunteer jobs have been in orphanages and shelters, but I have also participated in extension projects in my college.

I am really keen on traveling, meeting new people, knowing other cultures and costumes. I do believe that when we have the opportunity to get into different cultures, we leave our comfort zone, and consequently, we put ourselves in the place of others, so we can understand the world where we live better with more empathy, respect and love.

I am very outgoing and talkative , but I am also a good listener , who loves helping people. In college, I was part of AIESEC and ENACTUS , two wonderful organizations, which helped me to have closer contact with different realities and cultures. This contact made me grow a lot ,not only personally but also professionally. With AIESEC I had the opportunity to spend three months in the Mauricius Island, which was an amazing experience .

Sou estudante de Medicina Veterinária, apaixonada por todos os tipos de animais, o que teve grande influência para que eu virasse vegetariana.
Sempre tive aquela inquietação de não me acomodar, inquietação essa que me levou a realizar diversos trabalhos voluntários, os quais me fizeram ser a Fernanda que sou hoje.
Sou apaixonada por crianças, e por isso a maioria dos trabalhos voluntários foram em orfanatos ou em creches, mas também participei de projetos de extensão na faculdade.
Amo viajar e conhecer novas pessoas, novas culturas e novos costumes. Acredito que quando nos inserimos numa cultura diferente, saímos da nossa zona de conforto e consequentemente, nos colocamos no lugar do outro e entendemos melhor o mundo em que vivemos, com mais empatia, respeito e mais amor ao próximo.
Sou muito extrovertida e muito falante, mas também amo escutar e poder ajudar.
Na faculdade, fiz parte da AIESEC e da ENACTUS, duas organizações maravilhosas, onde eu pude ter o contato mais de perto com realidades e culturas diferentes da minha e que me fizeram crescer muito, tanto pessoal, quanto profissionalmente!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Pra mim o couchsourfing significa troca de experiências, crescimento, novas culturas, novas pessoas, empatia. E por esses e outros motivos estou aqui.
Quero conhecer novas pessoas, com costumes diferentes, aprender com elas e poder ensinar o que eu sei, não são muitas coisas, mas são de coração.

I'm currently living in Gold Coast in order to improve my English! I have been here in Gold since january and i'm leaving next week to travel around Australia and in July I will go to Asia for 6 months to do volunteer work!
It has been a great experience and i could improve a lot in different areas of my life! I came to Australia for improve my English but this was the last important thing that i learnt here!
I met a lot of people from all around the world, with different cultures, I also made a lot of friends and could travel to incredible places and this is the most important thing to me!!
