Overview
About Me
I'm 31 years old, I'm teacher in Special Education and I've worked with autistic people for five years in Santiago, Chili. I still want to perfecting me in this area to reach the development of a major incorporation in the area of the Special Education.
I'm responsible and very friendly, and also a committed person to what I do. I'm tidy and I adapt easily.
I like meet new people from differents parts of the world, to share with them and to discover the new places as well.
Actually, I went out of Chile two years ago. I was living in Europe (Scotland, England and France) working and travelling.
And now I'm going through in Southest Asia, I have been in Thailand, Laos and in Vietnam now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think couchsurfing is the best way to get the places, to meet local people and to share with them getting the culture. It is a good opportunity to make new contacts or maybe friends and facilitate my integration in new places.
I think that this is also a way of cultural exchange and sharing different experience of life.
Interests
I like to practice hatha or ashtanga yoga, playing football and riding bicicle as a way of transport. I enjoy cultural activities such as music concerts, art exhibitions and everything related to artistic expressions. I also enjoy on my free time reading books like novels or books of study, such as see movies and series. I like to listen to jazz, rock and brasilian music and I enjoy dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite rock musicians are Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Pedro Aznar. I like different jazz musicians as John Coltraine, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. I also listen brasilian music as Djavan, Hermeto Pascoal, Maria Rita, Lenine between others and some chilean groups as Congreso, Mediabanda, Inti Illimani, Los Jaivas, Javiera Parra, Fulano, Víctor Jara and Violeta Parra.
I like movies that make me think over certain topics and to watch series of detective or of age.
Some writers that I like are Roberto Bolaño, Emmanuel Càrrere, Alejandro Zambra, Kurt Vonnegut, Dostoiesvky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Four years ago, I undertaked a project with a musician friend, this project is about a music workshop for autistic children so they can develop a new way of comunication through the music. During a year the children participate on week leasons learning signs and corporal movements that allow them direct a group of musicians.
As this experience had good results, we have created a Cultural Centre dedicated to the inclusion of people with differents abilities through the music.
Teach, Learn, Share
It is important to me interacting with people that speak english because I need to improve my english skills, and this could be very helpful to me.
In the same way, I can help teaching people that are interested on learning spanish.
