Overview
About Me
I was born in Ensenada, Baja California, a small fishing town in northern Mexico near the US border. Due to the cultural diversity in my hometown, I became passionate about the beach, seafood and foreign and local sports such as soccer, football, baseball, basketball and volleyball. I am an assiduous reader of Mexican literature and history and a passionate taster of tequila, mezcal, pulque and craf beer. In 2008, I moved to Guadalajara, the place where our national spirit par excellence is produced. While studying at the University of Guadalajara, I started to work in the tequila industry as a bilingual tourist guide. Since, I have had the opportunity to share the tequila culture with people from all over the world as we tour the distilleries in the valley of Tequila & Amatitan. As a tour guide and a sociologist, I value cultural exchange. I love transmitting the knowledge and history of my country to those who show interest. It is extremely interesting and valuable to see how many people come to Mexico to learn about our traditions, customs, landscapes, art, food and drinks. As a Mexican, I will always be proud to share the beautiful and incredible things Mexico has to offer!
