About Me

Hi CS community!

A little about myself:

Since a young age I had many different opportunities of traveling abroad and I have always been fascinated of different cultures, cities, history and the peoples of each country. After every travel, usually, am based in Mexico City which is where I grew up.
I lived for a year in Brazil in one of the southernmost states called Parana when I was 17 and lived with a Japanese-Brazilian host family and that sparked my interest in Asian cultures. So when I was 22 I decided to do a year abroad in Shanghai, China for my bachelor studies--- it turned out to be the best experience of my life and overall the best year so far! Back in Mexico, I joined a student organization called AIESEC who helps international students to go abroad and do internships. I decided to try it myself and that's when I went for 3 months to Estonia. There I met amazing people from Switzerland to Hong Kong who am still in contact with and are good friends.
Now I am living in Berlin to study a masters degree in Data Science.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First and foremost, I like to travel. I like knowing different parts of the world, visiting new cities, visit museums, trying the local cuisines, and meeting local people while doing so.

I have visited over 40 + countries and I just want to visit more and more! My next plan is to visit the Middle East and Africa.

Interests

I have many but mainly I like reading, drawing, listening to music and watching films. I love working out like running, calisthenics, swimming and yoga. I like to watch random videos on youtube about nothing and everything and also listening to podcasts. Visiting museums, cooking and dining out. Chilling at the park... A nice cold beer at the beach : )

As for movies I've always enjoyed disney movies specially finding Nemo and Toy Story since I have the same age as Andy.... I also enjoy scifi movies such as Prometheus, the Alien trilogy, and also art cinema: life is beautiful.... Taxi Driver and anything to do with De Niro... I just appreciate good movies!
When it comes to books my favorite books are dostoevsky's crime and punishment, Rendezvous with Rama of Arthur C. Clark, the Stephen Hawking books and also Sapiens!
