Overview
About Me
I'm a short, shy person, I may not talk a lot, but I have a great sense of humor. After you get to know me you'll see I'm a really great guy. Recently became obsessed with travelling, so currently I'm on a 6-month trip (well, the initial plan was 6 months, now it's indeterminate) starting in Canada, with no set schedule or itinerary, just enjoying what the world has to offer, and hopefully giving something back in return.
The plan was to cross Canada from East to west coast. Then keep heading west until I get back to Canada.
My trip so far: in Canada, every province west of Quebec, including Yukon and NWT, going past the Arctic Circle, then into Alaska, from Dawson City to Anchorage via the top of the world. Then into Russia, took the trans-Siberian railway from Vladivostok to St Petersburg. Now in South Korea, on me easy to southeast Asia!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Very eclectic about music, my taste is all over the place.
I also like all kinds of movies, but I'm not an avid reader.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 30-day tour through Tibet, Nepal and India opened my eyes to the world and really inspired me to travel more. All the people I met, showed me how much a person can do by itself. So I decided to go by myself on this 6-month trip around Canada and maybe even around the globe.
Gone on a road trip from Alberta (Canada) to Alaska! Along the way saw an amazing northern light show while camping in a desert, and saw bears fishing for salmon in the river.
Hitchhiked to 68° of latitude, up to Inuvik (NWT, Canada) and even got a "crossed the Arctic Circle" certificate.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share the stories I've collected so far. I'm not a bad cook, maybe I could try making a local dish. And if there's any thing you want to do and want company, I'm down for it! Even if just helping around the house; or sawing and screwing wood to renovate a deck, I like to feel useful. (true story about the deck)
