About Me
Hi, I'm Fernando from Argentina.
I started travelling about 7 months ago. Now I'm on my way to become a web developer, so I can continue travelling. My ultimate goal is to work in computer security to help people be safer on the internet.
I have travelled around Europe motivated by the desire to meet wonderful people, places, languages, and flavors.
I've been volunteering in hostels and guesthouses, so I think it's time to try something different.
If money were no concern, I think I would dedicate myself to welding, building design furniture and things in general, oh, and also have a greenhouse where I could do aquaponic farming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I love exchanging views, learning from people, sharing culinary flavors (interested in trying veganism), music, and suddenly getting excited about things I didn't even know existed.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate good music in general, but I love funk, jazz, old music and indies in general. I particularly love Khruangbin, Men I Trust, Jungle, and Baby from Donnie & Joe Emerson.
Cinema: Wes Anderson. Can appreciate good anime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pretty proud of what I did during those initial quarantine months. I rolled up my sleeves, fired up the 3D printer, and cranked out face shields. It felt amazing to contribute and donate them.
Travelled around 5,000 km in a 100cc motorbike around Argentina just because someone told me I couldn't do it in such a small bike. Even reached a 4,600 meters mountain with this machine.
Very eager to hear my future self saying: "Hey, I built my own house!"
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation about the human condition, Argentinian way of living, current ongoing crisis and how we keep ourselves alive back there haha, some anime (don't look me that way, there are amazing stuff out there), . Handyman skills. I could help you repair or make some things if you like.
I also could teach you how to prepare a proper Argentinian "mate" haha. Some Spanish tortilla and maybe welding, if for some reason you are wanting to learn that.
