Hello everyone! I'm Fernando, a 27-year-old Brazilian based in the amazing Zurich for almost four years.
Here in this stunning country I met some really amazing people and now I want to call it home forever. I really love travelling and exploring new places, every now and then when I can I jump on a train and try to see somewhere new. I am also passionate about meeting new people from different cultures and places.
I like a bit of everything, going to museums, painting whenever I have free time, listen to music is a must in a daily basis, cooking (even though many times it turns out terrible haha), meditating at least once a day, working out, and good beer or wine, mostly if in good company. Not a big fan of soccer though, I have to confess haha, and yes I come from Brazil haha
I am pretty new here in the community but I have friends who used it a lot and always told me how many nice experiences they had so I wanted ted to try as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly to meet new people, share experiences, visit new places I haven't been before. My doors are always open also whenever it's possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I can be very eclectic. I love Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey, Bjork, Pink Floyd, Caetano Veloso, Grace Jones and so on. I really love Jazz and Blues, Rock and roll and Brazilian music.

I really like old cinema, and have watched a couple of movies from the old Hollywood. I am a big fan of Bette Davis and amongst her movies my favourites are Whatever happened to baby Jane, All About Eve, The Anniversary, Hush Hush Sweet Charllote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the highlands in Scotland, it was really amazing. We did a round trip with Interrail, we stayed in Paris, then London, Glasgow and went up to the highlands visiting many small cities. Afterwards and went down to Edinburgh, and then back home to Switzerland.
Those landscapes were just fenomenal.
