My name is Fernando (29) and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am an EFL and Spanish teacher. I've always worked teaching languages in private language schools, elementary schools and high school, in some companies and also by myself at home. I like languages a lot. I like playing music with my friends, I play the guitar and sing. I also enjoy watching football, doing some bike-riding, nature, cooking, video games, books, writing, running, doing physical exercise from time to time, visiting new places, going out with friends and all that kind of things. I consider myself a nice guy, easy-going and friendly. Something important to know about me is that I'm a vegetarian, just in case you wanna hang out and invite me for lunch or dinner. At the moment I live in Minas Gerais, Brazil. I've been living here for two years, so I can speak Portuguese, Spanish and English pretty well.

I really enjoy learning languages! In fact, learning and studying English has been my passion all along these years and now I am an English teacher (EFL teacher).

Nowadays, I don't find any challenge in English because I deal with it everyday, and I see it as part of my job. So, I've decided to start learning Portuguese as it shares its roots with Spanish and I can go to Brazil from time to time to practice it!

Just in case you want to know! I teach myself the languages I learn using lang-8.com, duolingo (I really like it!), youtube videos and getting in contact with natives. I think travelling is also part of acquiring a language.

I also like music. I play the guitar, sing, and write my own songs. All along my life I've had some bands and recorded some albums. I still make music with friends or people I meet while travelling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1) I've gone from Zárate to Buenos Aires by bike!! 100 km!! Maybe it's not THAT much for some of you... BUT it was a lot to me!! AND IT STILL IS!! It was in 2013 and I went with an American friend who came from the US... BY BIKE!!! It took him around 14 months to complete the trip, so... if I compare my little adventure to the one he had it is a joke!! However, it was something great to me, one of the best things I've done in my life! Now I'm planning to do more bike trips like that one, go further and for longer periods of time. I got really inspired by that experience!

2) Went to the Bom Jardim waterfall by bike here in Uberlândia. Great experience!

3) I've travelled by bus from Uberlândia to Fortaleza and from Uberlândia to Rio! (almost three days to get to Fortaleza, that was a lot)

4) I've lived in Brazil for two years! I teach Spanish and English here! (yeah, that's pretty amazing for me)

I can give you some free English or Spanish lessons! I'm an experienced teacher and I teach for a living, but I enjoy teaching languages when my students are really interested in learning. I think if teaching wasn't my job I'd do it for fun.
